Michael studied acting at New York's Neighborhood Playhouse under Sanford Meisner, alongside voice, ballet, and jazz. That foundation shows up as stage presence and an instinct for timing, humor, and storytelling — the ability to read an audience and shape the evening around it.
Pop, Broadway, the Great American Songbook, classic rock, country, and timeless favorites. A repertoire that deep means the set list can be written by the people in front of him, in real time, without ever losing the thread of the evening.
As an arranger and producer, Michael builds custom drums, bass, and orchestral elements at The Smooth Spot, his own recording studio. A solo performance can open up into something much larger when the event calls for it.
